LIMIT YOUR RADIO ADS AND PROMOTERS ( SAVE YOUR $$$ )

SO YOUR BUSINESS IS OPEN ALREADY !!!! GREAT….. NOW WHAT ?
-You are worried. All your savings have gone into the business and fixed expenses are rolling in. So you call the radio and pay several hundred dollars to post ads for your new venue. But is it really helping ? Is radio an effective way to advertise ? and how long to i keep running these ads ?
Radio advertising for clubs and bars is essential but very expensive. Is it a good idea to advertise during your Grand Opening ? YES . How long should you keep running the ads ? Repetition is essential but you should only run it for less than a month. Once your clients are starting to come in, the word is going to spread and that is a direct advertisement and FREE. Keep your radio time for special events alone, not every week.
-Several promoters come to your business and try to lure you into their little promotion deals and claim that they can pack your place at once. Most of them use Facebook pages that they have build up through out time and also use Bulk SMS marketing campaigns to keep their club/bar followers close by. Hmmm. Most promoters desire 50% from the door proceeds. Is it a good idea to use promoters ? How do you know if they are good ? should you pay them that 50% from the door ? can you trust them ?
The answer is NO !!! Most of them are promoter wannabes. Do NOT just hire anybody. Do NOT sign any contracts. Do NOT give them more than 30% from the door. Do NOT let them run the register at the door. Do NOT allow them to run their own SMS campaign at the door. They usually have their own text line and they are building clientele from your business. If they are gone one day, the next day, they will be using that data base for another venue.YOUR ANSWERS ARE ALL HERE :

-Run your own SMS campaign. Make sure you find one that possibly offers unlimited messages (www.citytextin.com). This company is the only one that knows about the nightlife business. Sign up with them and run your own campaigns. Do NOT allow your promoter to have access to your text line login page. He Might upload your data base clients and upload it to his text line. Offer your clients at the door a reason to text your line. a special, or something FREE, if they text your company’s keyword to that special little # (short code). Then you will have complete control of the past visitors and you can message them your specials, free deals,etc. Most of them will use it and visit you again, assuming they were not dissatisfied with your service .
