i too miss the old post, seemed when i needed it the most, it went away,
So we opened a bar in 2010, an closed it 1 year later due to idiot landlord,
i can tell you my horror story later if anyone is planning on renting;
we are going to purchase our new location, but i was wondering about %'s on
occupancy cost %
labor %
liq & beer %
food %
any advice / opinions are welcome,

I would start with your most important and profitable item, which is liquor. But before, it would help to know what type of venue this is, is there a cover, live entertainment, etc.
