Top-notch speakers from NPD and Technomic will present research that has applications to beverage programs in multi-unit operations, with Technomic’s David Henkes offering a hotel-focused drill-down into consumer F&B trends while Warren Solochek of NPD delves into late night and happy hour guest demographic data to uncover new opportunities.
On the cocktail front, well-known beverage consultant David Commer delivers two sessions. One will offer tactics for incorporating today’s hot trends into a chain beverage program and another will present a drink trends panel involving cocktail luminaries Tony Abou Ganim, Dale DeGroff, Francesco Lafranconi and Julie Reiner.
Top operators tap into their beer expertise when Kip Snider of Yard House leads a beer tasting that explores various styles and George Barton of Carlson Restaurants Worldwide leads a draft beer profits panel discussion involving Cian Hickey of Anheuser Busch, Grant Wood of Boston Beer and Jeff Bell of MillerCoors.
On the wine front, Evan Goldstein will lead a tasting of lesser-known varietals, while Peter Marks, MW, of Constellation Wines will serve as a Wine List Coach, delivering strategies for developing strategic wine selections that work.
