The 2014 Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show will play host to keynote sessions with some of the industry’s leading entrepreneurs. Nightclub & Bar Media Group President and Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue” Host and Executive Producer Jon Taffer recently announced that this year’s keynote lineup will include one of today’s greatest entrepreneurial minds. Gail Goodman, CEO of Constant Contact, will address convention attendees Monday, March 24 at 1:15 p.m. PT.
“Every year we try to incorporate new and exciting topics of discussion to offer our convention attendees,” said Taffer. “Bringing Gail into the mix will pack an added punch to this year’s show. The Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show has become a trusted and essential event for nightlife innovators to not only share their knowledge and expertise, but to learn from the best. Gail is one of the best.”
Through her work at Constant Contact, Goodman has revolutionized the way small businesses create and grow relationships with their customers. A thought leader in online marketing, Goodman has long championed the needs of small businesses, and has led the charge in taking highly complex marketing tasks and making them incredibly accessible for even the most novice marketers. She has been the driving force behind the company’s evolution from an email marketing company to a company that offers all of the marketing tools needed to a grow a business. As an advocate for small business best practices, Goodman will enlighten convention attendees with the skills necessary to create and maintain enduring and authentic customer connections by leveraging online marketing tools and technologies during her keynote address.
“Running a business – especially a small business – is demanding work, and marketing is just one piece of the puzzle,” said Goodman. “The good news is that there are a variety of strategies that businesses can use to reach new customers, keep them engaged, and drive repeat visits– and it’s not hard or time consuming. I am excited to help the attendees of this year’s Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show understand how to build the powerful customer relationships that will lead to their success.”
Goodman’s keynote, founded on principles she employs every day in her work at Constant Contact, will provide a framework for Engagement Marketing and showcase the advantages in building long-term relationships with customers and creating brand advocates to drive business success. Attendees will learn how Engagement Marketing can become the single most valuable source of new customers for their business. Goodman’s lesson will emphasize the need for great experiences through both in-person and online interactions to make people feel connected. Delivering these experiences and making these connections can then inspire customer endorsements through social media, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, giving businesses maximum marketing potential.
The Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show has become one of the largest trade shows in the industry. Each year, more than 37,000 nightlife operators, managers and industry enthusiasts, responsible for $19.8 billion in beverage sales annually and representing more than 200,000 on-premise establishments, flock to Las Vegas for what has become the most influential conference for those in the industry.
