Potions For Grown Up Ghouls And Goblins

Hosting a frightful holiday bash this Thursday? Then you are going to need some spooky cocktails for the grown up ghouls and goblins. People want to go out on Halloween to let loose and pretend to be someone or something different. Give your customers something to scream about this Halloween with some exciting elixirs to shake up at your bar.

Ashes to Ashes

1 1/2 oz. Espolón Tequila Reposado
1/2 oz. Pedro Ximenez Sherry
1 oz. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Sweetened Cocoa Mix
1/4 oz. Agave Nectar
1 Pinch Ground Cinnamon

Place all ingredients in a mixing glass, fill with ice, cover and shake well for 10 seconds. Strain up into a cocktail glass. Garnish with cinnamon dust.

Sauza Candy Corn Margarita
Created by Sauza Tequila

3 parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
4 parts Orange or Clementine Soda
4 parts Light Beer
1 1/2 parts Orange Liquor
1/2 can Frozen Limeade

In a pitcher combine all ingredients. Chill and serve on a plate filled with candy corn in glasses rimmed with orange sugar. (Serves 4)

Candy Corn Margarita

Berries & Bubbles

11/2 oz. Belvedere Citrus
3/4 oz. Crème de Cassis
11/2 oz. House made sour
1 oz. Domaine Chandon Brut
2-3 pieces of dry ice
Berries marinated in Grand Marnier
Combine Belvedere Citrus, Crème de Cassis and sour in mixing tin.

Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into chilled martini glass containing a spoonful of Grand Marnier marinated berries and a piece of dry ice. Finish cocktail with Domaine Chandon Brut float.

Hornitos Not Just Any Potion 
Created by Hornitos Tequila

1.5 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
2 parts Lime Juice
1 part Simple Syrup
1/2 part Raspberry Puree
1 part Vanilla Liqueur 

Shake and pour ingredients into a cocktail glass half rimmed with a thick layer of black lava salt. Garnish with 2-3 chocolate/salt covered raspberries.

Not Just Any Potion

Cruzan Haunted Cinn
Created by Cruzan Rum

1 1/2 parts Cruzan Velvet Cinn
1 part Cruzan Aged Dark Rum
1/2 parts DeKuyper Blood Orange Liqueur
Float DeKuyper Hot Damn! Liqueur
Flamed Orange Zest

Combine Cruzan Velvet Cinn, Cruzan Aged Dark Rum & Blood Orange Liqueur in a tumbler over ice & stir for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Float a small amount of DeKuyper® Hot Damn! Liqueur on top & finish with a flamed orange zest.

Haunted Cinn

1 ½ oz. Espolón Tequila Reposado
½ oz. Frangelico
½ oz. Lemon Juice
1 oz. Cinnamon Simple Syrup
2 dashes of Wormwood Bitters

Shake ingredients together and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with lemon twist.

Vampire Delight
Created by Smirnoff Vodka

1 oz. Smirnoff Wild Honey Flavored Vodka
1 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. apple juice

Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and Strain into a martini glass rimmed with creme de cassis Glassware: Martini Glass

Bloody Eyeball

2 oz. Charbay Blood Orange Vodka
1 oz. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
1/2 oz. Blood orange simple syrup

Add ingredients over ice, shake and strain. Garnish with Lychee Eyeball.
