An integral drink in cocktail culture, the daiquiri remains one of those enigmatic cocktails that can take many shapes and forms. Show appreciation for such a multifacted creation by celebrating National Daiquiri Day on July 19. The traditional daiquiri, made with rum, lime juice and a sweetener, continues to evolve into a versatile, perfect-for-summer (or anytime) drink. By adding fresh fruit juices, fruit-infused rum or experimenting with different ingredients, you can satisfy the most picky of palates with these delectable drinks.
Additionally, plan a daiquiri promotion for the 19th and keep it going through July 21 to celebrate the birthday of a true Daiquiri pioneer, Ernest Hemingway, who helped create the Hemingway Daiquiri at El Floridita in Cuba.

1 cup crushed ice
1 ounce ABSOLUT Mandarin vodka
1 ounce Perfect Puree Lychee, thawed
1 ounce Perfect Puree White Peach, thawed
Strawberry, for garnish
Blend all ingredients in a blender then pour into a chilled glass. Garnish with a strawberry and serve.
Crack of Dawn

1½ ounces Cockspur Fine Rum
¾ ounce fresh lime juice
¾ ounce honey syrup*
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
*Honey Syrup: Equal parts honey dissolved in warm water.

2 parts aged rum
1 part St-Germain
¾ part freshly squeezed lime juice
Lime wheel, for garnish
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe or Martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Cruzan Classic Daiquiri

1 part Cruzan Aged Light Rum
½ teaspoon sugar
A splash of lime juice
Combine ingredients into a mixing glass and shake well with ice. Serve in a rocks glass, or strain into a cocktail glass.
Bacardi Berry Daiquiri “Chiller”

½ cup Bacardi Superior Rum
1 cup frozen mix
½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend and pour into shot drink glasses. Place in freezer for 30 minutes. Insert wooden sticks and freeze for another 3 to 5 hours before serving.

2 ounces 10 Cane Rum
1 medium-sized chunk of fresh watermelon
1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
½ ounce simple syrup
Muddle watermelon in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add 10 Cane Rum, freshly squeezed lime juice and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a watermelon slice.
Fresh Fruit Infused Daiquiri

2 ounces fresh-fruit-infused Pyrat XO Reserve Rum
Juice of one lime, hand extracted
1 heaping teaspoon powdered sugar
Make infused rum from blackberries, blueberries, bing cherries, pineapple, strawberries or a combination. Place ripe, rinsed fruit in a large-mouth jar, cover with Pyrat XO Reserve Rum (save bottles) and place in a cool spot for four to six days. Then drain off the fruit, return to the bottles and store in refrigerator for up to two weeks. In an ice-filled mixing glass, add ingredients, shake, strain and serve.
