Drink Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

We all know that come October the costumes, candy and horror movies make appearances but this month is not all about black and orange. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so think pink!

Join in the movement to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer by shaking up some pink drinks. You may want to consider running a Pink Promotion where a percentage of every pink cocktail sold goes to breast cancer research. You’ll certainly drive more female business into your bar, so again, think pink and serve some of these cocktails at your bar in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Star

1 1/2 oz. SKYY Vodka
1/2 oz. X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
1/4 oz. simple syrup
Juice of half a lemon
Star Fruit
Sparkling wine

Muddle a star fruit in shaker. Add remaining ingredients, except sparkling wine, and shake to combine. Strain into a champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with a slice of star fruit.

1 oz. Cazadores Blanco
1 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. St-Germain Elderflower liqueur
1/2 oz. Lillet Blanc
1/2 oz. Hum Liqueur

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake well and strain over ice. Garnish with lemon twist.

Pink Lion

Ciroc Pomegranate Lemonade

1.5 oz. Ciroc Red Berry
1 oz. Lemonade
.5 oz. Pomegranate Juice
.5 oz. Lemonchelo
.5 oz. Simple Syrup

Build: In a mixing tin, add all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled coup glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

1 1/2oz Pink grapefruit vodka
3/4oz Maraschino liquor
1/2oz Lime juice
1/2oz Simple syrup
Dash of pomegranate bitters

Shake all ingredients and strain over ice. Float black raspberry liqueur. Garnish with a sprig of Mint.

Tart Heart

1½ oz. X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
1½ oz. SKYY Infusions Cherry
Splash of Grenadine
Cherry, for garnish

Shake X-Rated and SKYY Infusions Cherry over ice. Strain into a Martini
 glass. Slowly add a dash of Grenadine so that it sinks to the bottom.
Garnish with a cherry with a knotted stem.

Tongue Tied

Cali Thyme

1 1/2 oz. Caliche rum
1/2 oz Lemon juice
3/4 oz. Pomegranate juice
3 Sprigs of fresh thyme
1/2 oz. or Combier orange liqueur
1 dash of agave nectar

Combine all ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously until well chilled, serve in a chilled cocktail coupe, garnish with a thyme sprig.

Cali Thyme

Sauza Passion Fruit Margarita

1.5 parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
1/2 part orange liqueur
2 parts Passion Fruit Jam
2 parts Club Soda
1/2 part Agave
1 part lime juice
Cilantro to garnish
Chili-Salt to rim glass

In a shaker filled with ice combine all ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass filled with ice and prepared with a chili-salt rim. Garnish with a sprig of Cilantro and a lime wheel.

Passionfruit Margarita

Skinny Spiked Cider

1 1/2 oz. X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
1/4 oz. Campari
1 oz. Apple-Cranberry Sparkling Cider
2 slices of Asian Pear
Juice of half a Lime
Fresh Cranberries

Muddle one pear slice in a cocktail shaker then add the X-Rated Fusion Liqueur, Campari and lime juice with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a wine glass and top with sparkling apple-cranberry cider. Place cranberries on top for garnish.

Skinny Spiked Cider

1.5 oz. SKYY Infusions Citrus
1 oz. X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
3/4 oz. Pineapple
1 strawberry

Combine ingredients in shaker. Pour over ice, garnish with strawberry.
