Dessert cocktails are the perfect way to get creative at your bar and an even better way to upsell to your guests, who want to try something new. Forget serving dessert after dinner, and entice your guest's sweet tooth with these treats.

 


Coconut DreamCoconut Dream
Created by Dana M. Bruner, The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley.

1 ounce Culinary Traditions Coconut, thawed
½ ounce amaretto
1 ½ ounces chocolate liqueur
⅛ tsp. Culinary Traditions Key Lime Concentrate, thawed

Add all ingredients into a glass filled with ice. Shake vigorously in a Boston shaker for 10 seconds. Strain into a Martini glass, and garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder.


Peanutty Chocolate ShakePeanutty Chocolate Shake

2 cups Haagan-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream
1/8 cup chocolate sauce
½ cup whole milk
1/8 cup peanut protein powder
1 tsp. creamy peanut butter
2 Tbsp. whipped cream, optional

Combine all ingredients, except whipped cream, in blender; puree until very smooth. Transfer to a large glass, top with whipped cream and serve.


Russian Standard Apple Pie

1 ½ ounces Russian Standard Vodka 

1 ounce apple cider

½ ounce apple liqueur

¼ ounce simple syrup

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake very well. Strain over ice into an Old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a caramel covered apple slice


Bon Bon
Created by Jeff Isaacson and Clark Moore for Gerber Group.

3 raspberries
1 ounce Amaretto di Saronno
1 ounce Chambord
1 ounce Frangelico
1 squeeze chocolate syrup
½ part cream

In a mixing glass muddle the raspberries. Add ice and mix the rest of the ingredients. Shake and strain over two raspberries. Serve in a port glass.


Peppermint MojitoHaru’s Peppermint Mojito
On the menu at Haru Sushi in New York City.

1 ½ ounces DonQ Rum
1 ounce Nigori sake
½ ounce soda water
3/10 ounce peppermint schnapps
1/5 ounce grenadine
1/5 ounce sour mix
3 mint leaves
4 lime wedges

Muddle mint leaves and lime. Add all contents over ice, shake vigorously. Pour into pilsner glass. Add grenadine for layered effect.


Carrot CakeCarrot Cake
On the menu at Union Restaurant & Bar at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

1 ounce carrot juice
1 ounce heavy whipping cream
1 pinch cinnamon
1 spoon brown sugar
1 ounce simple syrup
½ ounce Baileys
1 ounce spiced rum
1 ounce vanilla vodka
Cream cheese frosting on rim
Freshly grated nutmeg

Add all ingredients in shaker glass and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled, rimmed Martini glass and grate nutmeg over top.

2 ½ ounces NutLiquor peanut butter vodka
½ ounce Pinnacle Whipped vodka

Shake with ice and strain.


Iced Pepperminty Café

1 cup low-fat milk
1 ½ tsp. instant coffee granules
2 tsp. white chocolate chips
1½ to 2 cups ice cubes
3 mint candies

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix blender. Press button 1 and allow machine to complete programmed cycle.
