New Orleans loves the past, one might say, and the Rock ‘N Bowl on Carrollton Avenue pays homage to the 1930s and 1940s beyond mere vintage décor. Since John Blancher took over the property in 1988, he has worked hard to keep the authenticity –– from the 1958 pin setters to the live music he brings in Tuesday through Saturday each week.
