As Brandon Sutton was spinning records one night at a hip venue (not to be named) in Atlanta, he noticed frequent low-end humming and skipping. He realized the turntables were not insulated correctly, and the DJ booth structure was connected with the hardwood floor on the dance floor below.
Sutton recalls that on this particular night the club was really busy, and the act of people dancing was causing the records to skip.
