This Friday, Light the Way Through the Blackness Straight Into Your Bar

Getting pushed and shoved all over a mall in order to purchase a sweater for a whopping ten dollars off instead of sleeping comfortably in bed. Sounds like a pretty legitimate excuse to wake up at 3:30 in the morning, right? Questionable. Call me cynical, but while many people do enjoy the sales, I would probably prefer to wander around a dream mall while I slumber in early hours of the morning.

Regardless of how I personally feel about Black Friday, many shoppers venture out into the retail world at obscure hours to find the best sales. Today marks the start of the holiday shopping season, so it goes without saying that your patrons may need some relaxation time to unwind with a couple cocktails.  In honor of the day after Thanksgiving, try an Early Bird Special for appetizers and drinks.

Being that some of your customers will be up at an ungodly hour of the morning looking for bargains, they very well could be in bed by breakfast time, so hop on the bandwagon and host a one day deal of your own on this Black Friday to keep them out and about. Last year, the National Restaurant Association estimated that approximately 32 million Americans go out to eat while shopping on Black Friday. Thirty-two MILLION; take advantage of this statistics, open a little earlier and give them an offer they can’t refuse!
