Get the Olives Ready! It's National Martini Day!

The martini is a classic cocktail that has proven to be a catalyst in the money making department. And today, National Martini Day, we feel it's only right that you take the time to honor this sophisticated and most sippable cocktail. As most bartenders will tell you, the martini is typically made with gin, vermouth and garnish of either an olive or a lemon wedge.

While consistency is very much valued, here at Nightclub & Bar, we also appreciate originality. So, here are some unique martini recipes for you to try at your bar alongside the classic gin and vermouth on National Martini Day!

Unicorn Tears
The Corner Office Restaurant and Martini Bar

1 1/4 oz. Lillet Rose
1/2 oz. Bombay Sapphire East
1 oz. Lemon simple
1 oz. spring water
Splash Crème de Viollette

Stir, strain into martini glass. Garnish with an orange twist. Finish with 2 Unicorn Tears.

Grapefruit A-Go-Go
Created by Second Hom Kitchen & Bar

1 1/4 oz. Absolut
1/4 oz. St. Germain
1/4 oz. Honey Simple Syrup
Frozen grapefruit ball
Lemon
Prosecco

Stir, strain into martini glass over frozen grapefruit balls.

The Vesla

1 1/4 oz. Aria Gin
1 oz. Cocchi Americano
1 oz. Hangar One Vodka

Stir briskly and serve up with a lemon peel
