Healthy, fit and fresh is definitely on the minds of customers trying to stick to their New Year’s Resolutions. Therefore, why not provide them with some healthier cocktails that they can toast to without worrying.
Delicious and nutritious cocktails are easier to create and execute than you think. Let your guest imbibe without feeling guilty by make cocktails with organic fresh ingredients and juices. Drinks with less sugar are also easier on the body. Therefore, don’t be afraid to back off the simple syrup in recipes; or ditch it altogether.
How about adding some energy-boosting cocktails to your menu by packing them with antioxidant-rich ingredients including kiwifruit, blackberries and red bell peppers? Working in fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables will keep the health conscious customers coming back for the better-for-you cocktails you’re offering.
To help get you started here are a couple healthier cocktail options.

2 oz. organic vodka
1 tbsp. fresh strawberries
1 tbsp. of fresh blueberries
Dash of Fresh Lemon Juice
1/8 tsp. of coconut nectar
Blend fresh berries with enough mineral water to cover. In a shaker add vodka, blended berry juice, coconut nectar and lemon. Pour in a glass and top with more mineral water as needed. Garnish with fresh berries and edible flower.

1 oz. vodka
2 oz. coffee
3 oz. light almond milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Combing all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain over ice into a cocktail glass. Or for a more traditional mudslide, blend in a blender.
