Weber's Place

Reseda, CA located just 16 miles from Hollywood, is home to almost half a million 21 to 39 year old free-spending crowd.  With this type of demographic at your fingertips, Weber’s Place, a local bar owned by Kervin Cinton, should be doing everything in it power to attract this crowd. However, Weber’s is having an identity crisis and lacks direction.

Being unable to pin point a specific target audience, Weber’s started a downward spiral, losing $12,000 per month.  At wits end, Kervin decides that he is in over his head and calls for help from renowned bar expert Jon Taffer.

It becomes clear to Jon and his team of experts, mixologist Michael Tipps and Chef Keith Jones as this rescue unfold, that not only is the direction and management a huge problem but the staff is blatantly stealing.  In order for Jon and owner Kervin to take back control of the bar -- proving that they mean business and stealing will not be tolerated - - they execute a landmark fire, ultimately getting rid of the weakest link.     

Once order is restored Jon brings his expertise to bear right away in order to breathe life into the bar and find its identity – a Dominica experience.  The team begins to create this new vibe through new beverages and food items. Taffer turns the bar over to designer Nancy Hadley and her team to create a unique personal space that Kervin and his staff can share with their customers.  After the transformation Weber’s becomes a Dominica Rum Bar and Grill which is unlike any other venue in the area.
