Taffer Leaves the M T Bottles Behind to Make Room for the Full Bottles and Cans
M T Bottle is a failing, beer only bar in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. People are only come to the bar for the sexy bartenders and stay because of the liquor, their own liquor due to the county’s BYOB policy. For owner Gina, M T Bottle is their entire life. Gina has even picked up a full time factory job in order to pay their employees while Tracy, her husband, watches his wife struggle without helping.
M T Bottle needs to attain a liquor license and train behind the bar in order to dig themselves out of the $250,000 hole they have put themselves in. They also need to learn how to dress and conduct themselves appropriately at work. A bartender, Brandi, flashed a man for $5 and Gina does not dress like an owner. Things need to change around M T Bottle if they hope to stay in business.
Jon Taffer brings in Russell Davis and Stretch to train the staff behind the bar and in the kitchen. Taffer and his team have come to the conclusion that they need to come up with a concept that is not above the area they are in. They decide to revolve their concept around the redneck ingenuity theme and to really emphasize where the staff is from.
M T Bottle has been transformed into Bottles and Cans, playing off the sexy vibe that the bar has always had. The bar now runs like a professional bar with an established liquor license and after the kitchen was separated from the bar, things began to run smoothly. If Bottles and Cans stays on track they’ll bring in $30,000 a month and get themselves out of debt that threatened to close their doors for good.
