Breakthrough Sales Report

How are sales? That’s the question on everyone’s mind these days. Throughout the recession and now that we’re officially in recovery, according to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, operators of bars, restaurants and nightclubs have been watching their sales figures like hawks. They’re also looking to see how everyone else is doing as a barometer of the marketplace and as a way to discover new opportunities. Other than anecdotal accounts, however, current broad-market on-premise drink sales data has been non-existent.

Until now. This report includes sales data from 2,800 bars, nightclubs and restaurants in six major metro markets, reflecting drink sales trends from January to June of this year.
