The U.S. Bartenders' Guild (USBG) and Russian Standard Vodka invite guild members to participate in the "Emotion in a Glass" Competition.

For the second year running, USBG competition winner Patricia Richards to compete in the international finals in Finland.

Six countries will hold contests in which bartenders will compete to create the most innovative cocktail. The top three from each country will enter the 42BELOW Cocktail World Cup finals.

USBG chapters held local cocktail competitions in March and April to determine the 15 finalists who will compete in the national event in the MixItUp 2010 Mixology Challenge. Here are the winners.

With a unanimous vote from the National Board, USBG officially welcomes the Cincinnati Chapter to the USBG! Additionally, Team USA won the sixth annual 42BELOW Cocktail World Cup.

The USBG Spirits Professional Exam and the USBG Advanced Bartender Exam will be held during Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans on July 20 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel’s Belle Grove Suite.

The 42BELOW Cocktail World Cup 2010 kicks off today in Queenstown, New Zealand, and USBG Spirits Professional and Advanced Bartender exams will take place at Tales of the Cocktail.

This week at the Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show, USBG Master Accreditation Board will proctor the Spirits Professional Exam and Advanced Bartender Exam.
