Top 100 Operators Back by Popular Demand

Panel Discussions at “The Show” to Be Led by Some of the Top 100 Operators

Attendees of “The Show” in Las Vegas this year will absorb insights from the masters of the on-premise game in panel discussions led by some of the Nightclub & Bar Editor’s Choice Top 100 bar and club owners and operators. Topics will range from marketing and promotional ideas to bar/club concepts to roundtable Q&A discussions designed to tackle myriad issues facing the industry today.

Oxford Publishing Inc., publisher of national trade magazine Nightclub & Bar, named its Editors’ Top 100 bars and clubs in the United States, which will be honored in a special presentation at the Nightclub & Bar/Beverage Retailer Beverage and Food Convention & Trade Show (“The Show”) in Las Vegas, held March 5-8, 2006. Some of the operators on the list will participate in sessions at “The Show.”

Nightclubs and bars from all over the United States were chosen based on a number of criteria, including annual revenues, marketing and advertising effectiveness, promotional expertise, uniqueness to market, food and beverage programs and much more.

From high-energy, upscale hot spots such as Marquee in Manhattan to laid-back, down-home historical haunts like Sloppy Joe’s in Key West, Fla., the Top 100 represents the full spectrum of nightlife in America and puts the spotlight on on-premise operations and venues that shine.

The following bars and clubs, listed in alphabetical order, made the Editors’ Top 100 for 2006. The city designated in parentheses for each is the city in which it is located, or, if the concept has multiple locations, the city of its first location.
