Embracing Trends

It seems to be the core and eternal question in the hospitality industry and on-premise world: How can more guests be attracted so that sales climb skyward? Absolutely, it’s a logical question, and it also is one that remains prevalent despite the changing of time, trends and technology. It also is one that this magazine seeks to help answer each issue. Everyone wants to pack the place and be successful, right?
Image    To be a sharp operator now means looking through the curve to the next major movements, be they PDA-based portion control systems, new music genres or shifts in the flavors spirits companies are producing. It’s not easy, but it’s become necessary. The good news is that options are wide open.
Nightclub & Bar magazine has been observing a wide array of trends lately, but all of them (in this editor’s opinion) have been encouraging. Read between the lines of this issue, and see what you observe of them.
All of this is to say that the possibilities for profit continue to be strong coming into this fall, and congratulations to all involved for perpetuating these trends. The efforts to stay ahead continue to impress patrons each night, and they continue to impress industry insiders each day. Enjoy this issue and one special new addition we have, Chain Beverage Buzz, and also don’t forge t that the Atlantic City Nightclub & Bar Show is just around the corner. In the meantime, cheers!

      Cheers,
