Tequila has been through a lot as a category in recent years. From the agave shortages to increased competition from other spirits to a new movement in which its premiums and super-premiums are being sipped and appreciated by a broader demographic than ever, tequila has proven both its tenacity and versatility.
The spirit is riding the crest of a popularity tidal wave as operators report, and there are more brand and flavor options of tequila than ever before in the industry. Explore these options and recipes, and test the boundaries of your bar or club’s tequila program. Chances are, what you’ll find is that this in-demand Mexican spirit has few borders. Shady Lady
1 ounce tequila
1 ounce melon liqueur
4 ounces grapefruit juice
Serve over ice in highball glass. Garnish with twist of lime and a cherry.

Southern Rose
1/2 ounce Tequila Rose
strawberry cream liqueur
1/2 ounce Southern Comfort peach liqueur
Pour Tequila Rose and Southern Comfort in equal parts into a shot glass, and serve.
Mexican Flag
Presentation shot glass, chilled
1 shot of white tequila
1 shot of grenadine
1 shot of Creme De Menthe

Tequila Cocktail
1.5 ounces tequila
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon grenadine
Dash Angostura Bitters
Combine ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, shake and strain into a chilled Martini or cocktail glass.

Tequila Cocktail No. 1
2 ounces tequila
Juice of 1/2 lemon
4 dashes of grenadine
1/4 egg white
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve.

Tequila A La Bertita
Bucket ice, glass. Pour ingredients into iced mixing glass.
2 ounces Sauza Tres Generaciones Plata Tequila
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce Rose’s Lime Juice
2 ounces lemonade
Shake and strain. Fill with Squirt.
Lime wedge garnish

Rocks glass, ice. Build in glass.
1.5 ounces Casa Noble
Reposado Tequila
3/4 ounce Grand Marnier 100th
