Moët Hennessy USA
Catching Up With One Well Rounded, Forward-Thinking Supplier
The Moet Hennessy USA portfolio of luxury products certainly can boast
of well-roundedness — a dynamic trait the company believes has it
primed for the 21st century and poised to make great strides in all
sectors. New President and CEO Mark Cornell aims to make new in-roads
and spearhead new projects to confirm Moët Hennessy USA’s position
among spirits leaders.
The Portfolio
• Innovative while maintaining its rich heritage and traditions, Hennessy stands on hallowed ground in the Cognac category, digging deep into its Founders Reserve Cellar to blend Richard Hennessy and Ellipse, two of the richest and most complex Cognacs ever produced.
• Moët Hennessy’s move into the ever-popular dynamic world of rum has given the market 10 Cane, which Moët Hennessy USA calls “the world’s first luxury rum.”
Made in Trinidad from hand-harvested virgin sugar cane that is pressed delicately to extract the purest juice, 10 Cane’s calling cards are balance, complexity of flavor and smoothness.
• Belvedere, a true luxury vodka, is produced from fine Dankowskie Gold Rye, a premium grain grown in the rich heartlands of Poland. It is that grain, along with four distillations, that account for the subtle sweetness and smooth clean finish that is the hallmark of Belvedere.
• Glenmorangie single malt Scotch whisky from the northern Highlands, is a market leader in wood finish single malts. Burgundy, Port, Sherry, and Madeira Wood Finishes lead the way, with the limited edition Cask Finish series providing the ultimate in luxury single malt experiences from world-renown winemakers: Sauternes Cask Finish, Tain L’Hermitage Cask Finish and the newly aunched Margaux Cask Finish.
• When it comes to cocktails, few spirits contribute to a smoother drink than does Grand Marnier. Moët Hennessy USA cites taste tests to confirm that more people prefer their Margaritas when Grand Marnier is included.
• Chopin vodka’s signature CEO Martini (Chopin Extra Olives) is featured in bars and restaurants throughout the United States. The CEO Martini allows a bartender to get as creative as his imagination will allow, by suggesting an array of stuffings for the olive garnish. From ham to blue cheese, from truffles to foie gras, the creamy texture of Chopin is suited to balance with any olive garnish.
• Navan, a super-premium Cognac infused with black vanilla beans from Madagascar, is a unique taste experience — embodying the forward thinking of the owners of Cognac’s elder statesman Hennessy. The happy marriage of smooth, rich Cognac with fragrant vanilla is a satisfying experience Cognac lovers, as well as for those who crave vanilla. NCB
