A Toast to the East Coast
Atlantic City 2005 Makes a Splash This Fall
If you thought “The Show” in Vegas was
monumental, you’ll also not want to miss Atlantic City 2005 (AC 2005),
where the invaluable show heads to the East Coast. Restaurant innovator
Phil Romano, whose concepts have generated a staggering $10
billion-plus in sales, already is slated as one of the keynote speakers
at AC 2005.
Oxford Publishing Inc., producer of the Nightclub & Bar/Beverage
Retailer/Beverage and Food Convention & Trade Show held annually in
Las Vegas, is launching this second national show in Atlantic City,
Oct. 10-12, 2005.
“Atlantic City offers a unique opportunity to expand our show on the
East Coast,” said Jennifer Robinson, COO of Oxford Publishing Inc. “It
has the right connection to all major cities and has an excitement
which is secondary only to Las Vegas. With the vast population of bars,
nightclubs, hotels, restaurants and casinos in the area, we feel that
it is the perfect place to showcase our educational programs, exhibits
and events.”
AC 2005 will afford attendees the convenience of a national beverage
and food show on the East Coast comparable to the Las Vegas show held
in March. She stressed that although many of the same program topics
offered in Vegas will also be showcased in Atlantic City, many new
programs specifically for East Coast markets will be included.
Held at the Trump Taj Mahal, attendees and exhibitors alike will find a
treasure chest of offerings at this show. A few topics slated for the
program include courses on waterfront marketing, bolstering food and
beverage business, increasing interest in high-end beer lines,
implementing accurate security plans and creating awareness of the
importance of design in a venue. Many of NCB’s Top 100
Speakers also will be on-hand to offer their successful and unsurpassed
advice on various topics within the food and beverage industry.
“Truly, it’s a new era in Atlantic City. There’s more entertainment,
more restaurants and nightlife than ever before ... The Nightclub &
Bar show fits perfectly with the new attitude of the area making this
the right connection for the launch of a secondary national event,”
says Barry Gutin, president of Cuba Libre Restaurant.
One of the keynote speakers headlining Atlantic City will be
restaurateur Phil Romano (pictured above). In addition to being a
renowned force in the food and beverage industry, Romano also is an
investor, entrepreneur and artist. He has created more than 25 concepts
which include Fuddruckers, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Spageddies,
Cozymel’s, Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ and eatZi’s Market &
Bakery. Romano will be speaking on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. NCB
