Twisted Mojitos
Havana’s Off Limits, So Head to New York
Transporting patrons in taste and ambiance, Retreat is just what the name implies.
Located in the Chelsea area of New York City, the venue is fairly
new to the nightlife scene, but its owners are not. Larry Kramer and
Craig Koenig have brought the city multiple venues including R&R,
Eden and B. Lo.
Retreat Bar Manager Jesse Carr developed several twists on the
classic Mojito, three of which are included here. “I love taking
classics and messing with them,” Carr says. “Some of these were older
drinks that I once did, and we revised them. There is an unlimited
amount of product out there. It is more of an adventure in making
drinks these days.”
