Stars Shine at 'The Show'
Industry Winners to Be Honored With Five Star and Market Maker Awards
Beverage brands were the focus last year when Nightclub &
Bar gave its first-ever Market Maker Awards to winners in a number of
beverage categories at “The Show” in Las Vegas. And the first-ever Five
Star Awards recognized a handful of entrepreneurs and concepts, both
on- and off-premise, that epitomized notions of excellence in the
industry.
This year, both awards are back, and the Market Maker Awards
this time target a variety of other categories of products crucial to
on-premise revenue.
Making the Market
Nightclub & Bar magazine recently asked its Editors’ Top 100 bars
and clubs to nominate their most money-making brands in eight
categories to be put up for a vote by all of the magazine’s readers,
who are bar, restaurant and club operators across the country. The
votes are in, but you’ll just have to attend “The Show” to find out who
they are.
The Market Maker Awards will honor the winners and nominees and will be
announced during the Market Maker Awards Reception on Sunday, March 4,
at Caesars Palace.

Star Players
The black-tie-optional Five Star Awards reception, also at Caesars,
will pay respect to operators, suppliers and concepts in seven
categories: Operator of the Year, Best Promotion On-Premise, Mixologist
of the Year, Operator of the Year-Latin/Hispanic Concept), Beverage
Retailer of the Year, Best Casual Dining Beverage Program and the
Lifetime Achievement Award.
