Obar's Lucky Charms
Dallas Bar Keeps March Green With St. Patrick's Day Beverages
This month’s recipe page is all about sharing that “lucky charm”
that Irish culture seems to claim as much as wet weather and whiskey.
Provided by obar in Dallas, Texas, these five cocktails bring profit
for the lounge each March and satisfaction for patron after patron.
Said to have the attitude of New York and the style of Los Angeles,
obar is known in Dallas circles as being a splendid place to sit back
and enjoy a seasonal cocktail, and March is no exception.
Owner Tim McEneny’s heritage shines; he’s a fourth generation
descendant from County Monaghan, Ireland, with a way around the backbar
in creating holiday-specific cocktails.
