Profit Pavilions and Critical Conferences

Just a Few of the Special Features of 'The Show'® Addressing Burgeoning Profit Centers
Image

Anyone who’s been to “The Show” in Las Vegas over the years has noticed that each year, the scope and breadth of offerings in the exhibit hall and in the seminar tracks has grown. Never content to rest on its laurels, “The Show” continues to stretch its reach to gather in one place as much as it possibly can, to present operators with the knowledge and tools they need to take profits to a level beyond last year’s.
Comprehensive information about all “The Show” has to offer is at   nightclub.com, but on this page is a spotlight on just a few elements to note.

Latin American Pavilion
One of the new areas of focus in the exhibit hall is the Latin American Pavilion. For the first time at “The Show,” this special area will showcase products with a Hispanic/Latin flair. Any operator whose venue’s concept is Latin-themed or whose concept is not Latin but incorporates or is considering incorporating beverages, food and promotions influenced by Latin culture will find this new pavilion a welcome addition.
“The Latin American Pavilion adds a new dimension to ‘The Show’ and a preface for Fiesta Latina, which we will host in Houston, in conjunction with Expo Comida, in April,” says Jennifer Robinson, C.O.O. of Oxford Publishing Inc., producer of “The Show.”

Sports Bar Conference
Back by resounding popular demand, the Sports Bar Conference is more than a mere pre-game pep talk. It has the elements operators need to craft a solid game plan. The following are a few of the sessions designed to give sports bars a winning edge in their markets.
“It’s Raining Revenue” helps management maximize the revenue to be had from fantasy sports. Rick Van Hollebeke, president and C.O.O. of FantasySportsBiz, will coach this session, sharing from his playbook on how to implement this revenue stream and make some noise with your clientele and entice more people to your venue.
The “Grand Slam Sports Bar Menus” seminar will feature a panel of industry stalwarts, led by Charlie Greener of Rawlings Sports Grille, delving into the strategy behind a winning menu - from graphic design to the actual planning of flavors and variety represented therein. Greener’s development of multi-venue concepts of more than 30,000 square feet has produced more than 50 such super-club venues at locations throughout the nation and $60 million in annual sales.
Matt Smiley of Barmuda Corp. is going to show sports bar operators how “Go Undefeated” with promotions and events. Smiley’s session will look at how to roll with the fumbles and shifts of momentum during sports seasons and keep driving toward the end zone of profit, no matter how the season is panning out.

Exhibit Hall of Fame
Not only does “The Show” present the perfect forum for networking with industry experts, you never know what famous faces you might see in the exhibit hall. More celebrities will be mingling in the hall; the only way to find out who they will be is to register and join them in Las Vegas! NCB
