Operators Converge on ‘The Show’ in AC

For the second time, “The Show” set up its East Coast base, with smashing results.
“I noticed an increase in involvement at all three tiers, and I know that attendees came in from some surprising areas like California,” said Christine Heller, senior marketing manager with Bacardi USA’s channel marketing group, and a Nightclub & Bar Advisory Board member. “In the panel I was involved with, there were operators from Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, California and D.C. I was impressed with their intense desire to learn. They were small independent operators with intense attention to the topics we covered.”
“All — not some but all — who I spoke with about the AC Show believe that this was definitely the place to inaugurate and grow a great trade show.”
“It’s year two, and I think we            all believe.”
“I came away with a lot of new knowledge and some great ideas,” said Robert Wolseley, general manager of Duffy's Love Shack. Wolseley traveled all the way from St. John in the Virgin Islands to attend “The Show.”
Todd Norton, owner of Todd’s Dugout in South Amboy, N.J., called the Getting Creative With Promotions seminar “the best I saw.” The session was led by James Auerbach, vice president of Rum Runners USA.
“Thats why I had to move up to the front row towards the end,” Norton said. “I wanted to make sure I captured what (he) had to say.” NCB
